Hello! I’m Jen Sebring, a PhD candidate in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. I’m an interdisciplinary health researcher and critical disability scholar interested in the social study of medicine, chronic illness, and arts-based research. Broadly, my work explores how medical understandings of disease shape the way complex chronic illnesses are lived and experienced.
